Join us for an incredible line up of events dedicated to raising awareness and support for those affected by Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome (CCHS).
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to be part of something meaningful, there’s an event for you! From the Run for Rare on February 26, 2025, to the Brighton Marathon and 10K on April 6, 2025, each step you take helps shine a light on rare diseases and raises money for the vital work of Keep Me Breathing. Find out more about each event below.
We are hosting a Beacon Run along the Sussex Coast to join the Rare Disease Day #LightUpForRare campaign this year.
Join us at the start of the Run at 5pm, Wednesday, 26 February in Arundel Town Square to cheer off our first runners or at the finish line around 8.30pm at Rockwater on Hove Beach.
Look out on our social channels for more details on how you can support by sharing our stories or donating to our runners.
We’ll be producing a short film of this event, which we will share on 28 February – the official Rare Disease Day.
Bannatyne Health Club in Eastbourne is hosting a charity day being run by Tiger-Lily’s Mum Vicky.
Tiger-Lily was born with CCHS in February 2018 so has just turned 7!
The event is open to non-members and is a chance to see this lovely club – activities include:
- 2 special classes where the cost of exercising will go to us (Body Pump & Body Combat)
- A fun quiz night for those looking for a good social – just £7.50 which includes finger food
- Gift tree full of presents donated to us
To take part in this event or to donate a gift for the gift tree, please contact gayle@keepmebreathing.com.
We’re calling all runners to sign up for our places in the Brighton 10K run taking place on 7th April – always a great fundraiser for charities like ours, so please join our team if you can.
Every step you take helps make a difference. Let’s come together, run for a cause, and shine a light on CCHS.
To sign up, email Steph@keepmebreathing.com today!
